I would like to take time especially today -- but believe me it is
every day, for those who went out of their way to write notes of
appreciation & encouragement to myself and to shelter Dad Dino here
at FerretWise Shelter. This year has been filled with much behind the
scenes - turmoil with ailing parents, funeral planning and now shelter
Dad and I are crossing our fingers that he will have employment in the
New Year ( due to corporation buyout- merger) . Things which inevitably
shape changes in the way we provide shelter care for the little fur
kids. We are thankful today we have our "space" for shelter & living,
we are thankful that we have the blessing of the fur kids and some
turkey to share with them. We are also most thankful for those who have
shared our vision and supported the important work we have accomplished
over the years,education, humane education, humane rehabilitation,
legislative testimonies, adoptive placements, expert testimonies in
state and federal hearings, rescues, transports and consulting. We
could not have accomplished so much for so many without the support
and backing of this great community and our special families we call
Ferret Wise.

Happy Thanksgiving to you all.

Hug those humans and ferrets while you can -- they may not be here
next year
