Tenaka, my energetic boy ferret of 6 years old, went to the vet today.
Tenaka had adrenal surgery last July. Ever since than, he has had
problems with prostrate and leakage. Recently, the leakage got to the
point of being continual.

The vet took an x-ray. What I feared the most was there. Two tumors in
the abdomen pressing on the bladder and bowels. The tumors are the size
of a small potato. Monday afternoon, exploratory surgery will be done.
More as a matter of being sure, than anything else. The tumors grew
fast. Yes, limposarcoma is very definitely possible, almost a foregone
conclusion. Tenaka is ...:-{ morphine to ease pain over the weekend.
The tumors are on the wrong side to be spleen tumors.

In my heart, I know when the vet opens him up, she will send him to the
bridge.
