Dear FML,
(!!! Warning : DO NOT read this while eating : graphic poop descriptions!!!)

I read with great interest David Ellis' post about recurring springtime
diarrhea. Jerill, and to a lesser extent, Gabriella, have been suffering
from intermittent diarrhea. Every so many poops is green and slimy, some
are yellow-brown and grainy, some look pretty normal. One of Jerill's poops
was incredibly watery. I haven't seen any fur in the stools.

Several days on amoxi had no effect. We've been on sulfadimethoxine for a
few days now. It seems to have brought about a slight improvement, but not
cleared up the problem. Jerill lost half a pound in a week's time.
Gabriella is so tiny, it is hard to tell if she has lost weight or not - she
can't afford to lose much. Both are very lively, alert and curious as ever.
Jerill still ferries his precious Tupperware upstairs with vigor. Gabriella
chases you until you chase her. Tom seems unaffected by the whole thing,
producing picture-perfect poops and nosing up pant legs (separate
activities!)

I've been out of my mind about this, taking the furballs to the vet, taking
stool samples to the vet, pestering Sukie and tle. (who are angels of mercy
: I can't thank them enough for all their advice and support) I simply don't
know what to think at this point. Has anyone had similar experiences?

Best regards,
        Susan and Stuart
Jerill (give me the syringe of that exquisite elixir)
Gabriella (no, give ME the syringe)
Tom (wrestle with me, I need lovies too)
