Not sure if you have tried this but, hardware stores sell masks that cover
your nose and mouth.  when playing with the fuzzys could you wear one of
these?  When I had to cut grass I used to wear one and man what a
difference.  I know its hard not to touch them and hold them but you can
play alot with out touching to much.  Ferrets love plastic bags use them
to play with them.  better than gloves.  I sure hope you find a way, I know
if I become allgeric to my ferrets too I will be suffering all the because
I am not giving them up.  time.  Good luck
