i use those plastic carpet protectors as liners in the bottom of my cage and
cloth bedding.  I dont like to use the carpet pieces as there amess to clean
up.  I just pull the beding out wipe down the liner and clean the litter pan
throw in new freshly washed bedding and away we go.
