Sorry - nowhere near you - but that brings up a great idea. A network
of ferret fixers" - those who volunteer their ferrets for ferret fixes
for travelers!! "I'm passing through San Jose and then will be in Vegas
for three days. I'll desperately need at least 15 mins of heavy ferret
petting after that. Anyone?" :)!!

I know if I take Jake dog with me to Pike Place Market he gets petted
but SO many people and I hear about how much people miss their own dogs
and how they needed a "dog fix". Maybe I should put a sign on him "Pat
me and get your dog fix - $1" and donate all the money to the animal
shelter!!
