Hello Fellow Ferret Lovers: In answer to Pete (November 7th FML), our kitten
and both our four year old ferret Katy, and the ten month old ferret Sasha,
were friends the instant the kitten came into the house a few weeks ago.
Sasha thinks that the kitten is a ferret and ocassionally he attempts to
drag her under the couch amidst many protests from the kitty. Even when we
remove the kitten from the rough play, she goes right back and the play
continues. We watch them carefully, but there don't seem to be any
problems. That's not to say however, that all kittens and ferts will get
along. We have three adult male cats who are always kept separate from the
ferrets because the cats are a threat to the ferrets.
