Here's one way to take some good ferret pictures: Buy a large piece of
acrylic fleece or fake fur at a fabric store.  Put a ferret or two in the
center of the fabric.  Focus and shoot VERY QUICKLY.  It also helps to use a
sleep sack, ferret tent, or something else the ferrets can explore and go
inside of.  You can focus on the entrance and take a picture as a ferret is
coming out.
