I too have a ferret who goes nuts when I bring out the squeaky toys.
 
Lucifer seems to hate the sound, she runs around trying to grab the toy,
clucking and hissing the whole time.  If she manages to get the toy
from myself or one of the 2 ferret boys affectionatly known as the "mud
Brothers" (Kyba and Shea), she bites it and shakes it to death until the
squeaky is dead.  After she buries it in the rice dig box, she will then
come to me for a treat kinda like "look mama, I got it, aren't you proud
of me".
