Special Event: EASTOWN BIZARRE BAZAAR
When: JUNE 14, 2003
Time: 9 A.M. - 4:00 P.M. (SET UP 7 A.M. - 8:45 A.M.)
Where:  Grand Rapids, Michigan

This is our 2nd year.  The purpose of this event is to promote diversity,
activity and community within the confines of Eastown in a flea
market/bazaar setting.
 
Directions: From East of Grand Rapids, take 96 West to the Cascade West
exit.  Turn right onto Cascade and follow to Robinson Road.  Turn left
on Robinson Road.  Turn left on Plymouth (you'll see a hospital sign).
First light is Wealthy, turn right.  You'll drive right into Eastown.  At
the light, you'll see Wolfgang's restaurant on the left.  At the street
there (Norwood), you can turn.  You'll be able to find parking.  There
will be event staff to guide you.
 
From West of Grand Rapids, take the Fuller Street exit.  Turn right onto
Fuller.  BEWARE - there is going to be construction going on.  Take
Fuller to Fulton, turn left (east).  Take Fulton to Woodward, turn right
(it's a right-sided street).  Turn right on Robinson Road.  Turn left on
Plymouth (you'll see a hospital sign).  First light is Wealthy, turn
right.  You'll be able to find parking.
 
From North of Grand Rapids, take 131 South to 196 east to the Fuller
Street Exit.  Turn right onto Fuller.  BEWARE - there is going to be
construction going on.  Take Fuller to Fulton, turn left (east).  Take
Fulton to Woodward, turn right (it's a right-sided street).  Turn right

Special Event: Gizzard Fest
When: JUNE 14-15, 2003
Time: 9 A.M. - 4:00 P.M.
Where:  Potterville, Michigan

The City of Potterville, Michigan (12 miles southwest of Lansing) holds
its annual Gizzard Fest on June 14-15.  Events include a Gizzard eating
contest, car show, parade, 3 on 3 basketball, antique tractor show,
fireworks, craft show & flea market, carnival, the Midwest Ferret
Fellowship, etc.  Up to 20,000 people are expected to invade the town
where they'll wolf some 2,500 pounds of deep-fried chicken gizzards.

Special Event: FERRET DAY - GRAND RAPIDS PETCO
When: JUNE 21, 2003
Time: 11 A.M. - 3:00 P.M.
Where:  PETCO, 3165 Alpine Avenue, Walker, MI  Phone: (616) 647-0328
Directions: From 96 west or east, take the Alpine North exit.  PETCO is
on the left at the very first light.

Where:   Kirk Park, located on the shore of Lake Michigan (west of Grand
Rapids, Michigan)
Directions: At the end of M-45 (aka Lake Michigan Drive), turn left
(south).  The park is on the right side of the road.

The Mission Statement of the Midwest Ferret Fellowship is to educate and
promote the domesticated ferret as a companion pet.  Even though we are
