I also posted this on the FHL:

My Peanut who is 5 months old was diagnosed with bacterial infection of
the intestine. The vet believes it to be clostridia bacteria. She is
down to about 500 mg of weight which is about half what she was before
she got sick. She won't eat, drink and is very lethargic. Friday she
was given sub-q fluids and sent home with flagyl. She is now taking 3
drops of kaeopectate every 8 hours along with the flagyl. We are force
feeding her every 4 hours. I rotate between duck soup (kibble, water,
nutrical, and chicken baby food), water, and water/pedialyte mix. I
make sure I am getting 15 ml in her everytime. I would have figured by
tonight she would have been feeling alittle better but it doesn't seem
that way. She still tents across her shoulders, but not as badly as she
did on Friday. She is urinating after every feeding, but we have yet to
get any poops but she has only taken about 15 ml of duck soup. Should
there be poops with that little of an amount?

I am getting worried, what more can I do? What am I missing? She feels
a little warm to the touch, but I don't know if that is from being worked
up every 3-4 hours or if she does have a fever. I am going to get a
battery for my thermometer tomorrow, of course it is dead, so I can take
her temp to know if she does have an elevated temp. If she does can I
give her something from home? I called an emergency vet, explained the
situation but they won't tell me anything unless they see her. My vet is
away until September 1st and I do not trust anyone else around here.

If anyone has any suggestions about how often the feedings or what I am
feeding or about when/if she will poop or anything please let me know.
Email me or post I keep watching all the boards and emails for anything
that will help my little Peeni through this. Our hopes are high but I
don't think the odds are in our favor here. She isn't doing well at all.
