Glad to hear that Rocky got a good check up! The vets probably knew,
but just in case not, you need to do a blood glucose check where the
ferret has fasted for 3 hours. If they have eaten in the hour or two
before it could be a false high reading, and if you fast them longer
than the 3 (or 4) hours (as you would for a dog or cat) there bg would
dip too low and would be dangerous for their health.
