Banana is now home and resting well.  The vet did in fact find a portion of
the gland still intact.  She indicated that it was about the size of a small
pencil eraser and SMELLED NASTY!  Banana is now on antibiotics and we go
back again in 10 days to have the stiches removed and things checked on.
