How are ferrets normally at remembering where the litter pan is? They seem
to be forgetting where it is even in their cage. They hit the general
location, but the hit count is dropping rapidly. I don't have a lot of
time during the day to 'babysit' them to ensure they are using the pan, so
should I give them their old, smaller cage back until they get the idea?
(Two ferrets in a two foot by foot & a half foot by two foot high cage for
four to six hours while I'm at work)

Thanks for the help!
