Hi!

I'm new to the FML and while I have a question, I might as well introduce
myself and the two fuzzies. I'm Dana Lane and I live in an FFZ (Mass.). My
fiance and I have (Or do they have us? I'm not sure) a male silver mitt, Ivan,
who's about 8 months old, and a female sable, Natasha (Tasha), who's about 9
months old. Ivan is a typical little boy. Rough and tumble, running around,
jumping, climbing, and generally getting into anything he can fit in. Tasha is
a bit more quiet but Ivan will convince her into anything. 8-)

Anyway, my question is this. We're planning on getting a real tree for
christmas and I was wondering if I'll need to worry about them getting into the
water in the tree stand. If they do get into it, will the water/sap mixture be
harmful? Thanks!!

Also, in answer to the question about licking. Our male licks my legs and
ankles every morning but out female never licks us. Since they eat the same
food, from the same dish, I'd say that diet probably isn't the reason. I think
it's just plain old affection. And the bites are his way of saying 'I wanna
play'
