Hi all,
Sorry about the [rather lame] post the other day about the "stinky fur
coat"--bad attempt at humor.
 
Oh well.  Anyhow, I just got a "new" bag of Totally Ferret from the local
Petco (I know--this one doesn't sell animals and it's the only place that
is convenient to get TF), got home and when I was opening the bag, it was
stamped on the top "best if used before MAY OF 2000!!!!"   Is it just as
good, as far as vitamins/minerals/proteins/good nutritional stuff/etc.
when it's old?  Or does it break down?  It didn't smell bad and the little
guys are scarfing it down so it's not rotten (as far as I can tell).
 
So, if anyone has any insight on how long TF can keep in an un-opened bag,
that'd be great if you could post it.
