Dear friends,

I recently responded to a post on the FAIML. Felony's mom was wondering if
the kindest thing would be to help Felony end her suffering. I told her
that she had to be at peace with whatever decision she made or she would
second guess herself for the rest of her life. I told her that those of us
who have felt that kind of loss would lighten the load of grief associated
with it by sharing it with her. Today as I sort through letters of
sympathy at the loss of my little funny face Roxie Bear, I know that my
load has become lighter and my grief easier to bear because those of you
who know that kind have pain have chosen to help me carry it with your kind
words.

Chanel, you made me cry great tears of joy as you put into words the love
and sadness I feel in my heart.

Thank you all for your words on comfort and support. Now if you will all
say a small prayer for Maggie. She is a 7 1/2 year old who has decided to
stop eating. The vet can find no reason for it . Upon examination he
found a slightly enlarged spleen but does not feel that would explain her
lack of eating or drinking. She is my second ferret and a personal pet not
an orphan. So we are force her to eat and drink. Sigh...

Hug all your baby's and thank God for allowing them to share in our lives.
