Hey
there isn't ANY soy in 8 in 1 ferret food. The level of fat is a little
lower, but hey, that is not a problem, we all give our ferrets
supplemental linatone, don't we?
raisin juice is WAY down on the list--put in in amounts on the order
of the supplemental vitamins and minerals.
I brought it to my vet on Thursday and she said that it is probably better
than Totally Ferret but the same as Marshall Farms, at least in her opinion
and that of a few other vets she writes to on the net. For myself, I use
Iams cat food (my guys are all 3 1/2-4 1/2 years old) mixed with 1/4 8 in
1. I will leave it at this ratio until I find out the final verdict on
this food. If yeah, then I will switch. If nay, then I will continue with
the cat food. However, the SHAPE of the Iams cat food is somewhat
prohibitive to my and some of my friend's ferrets. The pieces are a bit
large to chew easily. I might be crunching them up inthe future.
