We don't have anything to add to the MF debate, but want to suggest that MF
can not possibly be producing over 10 percent of the ferrets finding new
homes each year. Rounding off: If there are 10 million ferrets in homes
across the U.S., and the average ferret lives 10 years (don't we wish), that
means 1 million new ferrets have to be added each year. MF's 100,000, while
a big number, is only 10 percent of that. On that basis, anything you wish
to ask of MF should be made universal or you will miss 90 percent or more of
the ferrets.
