I don't know anything about the policies.  I'm thinking you probally could
get them there.  But, not back home due to the madcow disease.

[Moderator's note: UK has strict quarantine requirements for some incoming
animals.  Taking a ferret there for a few months would likely not be a
realistic option.  I doubt leaving again would be an issue though.  BIG]
