I know this message is a little late in responding - but just to make certain
everyone know this -
 
NEVER LEAVE A FERRET IN A CAR, EVEN FOR 5 MINUTES, EVEN WITH THE AC RUNNING
AT FULL TILT.
 
If you take your ferret out to the park, take the ferret home BEFORE going
out to shop, eat, run errands or TAKE THE FERRET INSIDE WITH YOU (and
probably get tossed out as well).
