Hi,
there's something that's been running in my mind since I read about some
deadly accident that occurs to ferrets.  I have been observing my ferrets
and their relationship with me and the humans.
 
Also I have been thinking of what they give me apart from the fact that they
are there, they are fun, they make me laugh and all this kind of things that
all the ferrets give their owners!
 
As I think also that all the things, animals, and human have a mysterious
connection among them which is over the physical status, what part do the
ferrets occupy?  What do they teach me?  What is the psycological effects
on me?
 
Well, first of all they teach you the tollerance: you are not the only one!
They teach you to be patient, to consider your movements, to take care of
little things, to be reflective and meditative, to take time with what you
do!  Everything you do will cause an effect!
 
If I have to clean their litterpan or the corners where they go they come
quickly to me eager to see and to know, even though I do it 20 times a day!
If I am on a hurry, I will not be able to do it as they do not let me work.
At that moment I learn to be patient and calm so that they can "destroy"
what I am doing: it is not important.  It is more important to be with them!
 
They teach you to be curious, to be alive and happy. There is no time
for depression ( I am often depressed!).
 
If you step on them they will never get offended, because they know you
didn't want to do it on purpose!  When I have to administer some bad taste
medicine, they will never loose the trust on me!
 
They will not revenge on me! They don't know what it is!
 
They like to please me! They eat from my hand only for that reason!
 
What can I do to please them instead?
 
Of course they are smart, but their cleverness is "active", immediate =
and powerful not on the sly like humans!
 
I am learning to love them more and more!
 
I hope I've been comprehensible as it is very difficult to espress my =
thoughts in english!
