Bobbi was wondering about getting FURO books - I think Hildy Langweis at
CDFA might be able to help (if she's is still there).  I am eager to get
another copy of Fara's book on Reproduction of the Ferret etc.  I lent it
to a friend and never got it back - grrrr!
 
I, too, am certain animals feel things.  My mom was in hospital for 3
months before she died and I was pretty unhappy during that period.
Amazingly, all six of my ferrets used to crawl under the quilt and snuggle
up against me.  Now that never happened before and hasn't happened since -
I have two girls who are real cuddly but the boys and my other girl are
happier to sleep in the chest of drawers.  I got so much peace of mind by
knowing those little critters cared about me and showed it that it made a
very difficult period of my life easier.
