I've just read some posts on ferrets and rabbits, but I was going to tell
you this anyway!

I was with some friends at a farm on the weekend, and I had taken Clover
with me. So we wandered around for about an hour, and poked her nose into
about 12 different burrows. (rabbits are pests in the area) She certainly
knew what to do with a rabbit burrow - go in one entrance and come out
another!

Finally, we pointed her down one, and after about 5 minutes, a rabbit came
flying out of its hole, stopped dead for a moment, according to the person
who saw it, then shot off away from us, white tail bobbing. Clover's nose
appeared about 30 seconds later, but I was too slow to get her, and it was
another 5 minutes before she appeared at another entrance. I was beginning
to think of getting a shovel to dig her out!

We weren't trying to catch or kill the rabbit. I was just pleased to see
that Clover could flush a rabbit out!

Sandra, Clover and Princess
ps I didn't take Princess because I dont trust her to come out of rabbit
burrow - she likes the pipes in my bedroom too much.
