Randy writes that an 8 month old neutered male is trying to mate with his
cage mate.  We had a young male trying the same thing a few weeks ago.
Extra play time seemed to cure it.  In any case, he has given up and is
otherwise a healthy and extremely active (troublemaking!) ferret.
 
You might just want to try that unless there are other adrenal symptoms like
marking behavior, rough coat, strong odor, hair loss, etc.
