 Hi FML'ers,

Marilyn here, and I had a biter. That is the love of my life, Charity.
She is a wonderful ferret, BUT she was a biter. I would stick my hand
in to get her dish and she would nail me. I bought bracelets so people
would not think I was on to something.

One day, I decided to bite her back - I did, and the minute I got her
tail into my mouth, she released the hair control button. I was spitting
hair out, real or imaginary for three days.

I finally gave up, decided I was not going to fix this, and then, quite
by accident, I found the solution. I feed Alicia's Shelter Soup receipt
from Ferretwise twice a day. I began cooking chicken and blending it up,
and adding it to everyone's soup.

SHE STOPPED BITING. Guess she needed that extra protein and I was
supplying it. Scary huh!!!

She is the sweetest ferret you would want NOW, as long as I keep sending
that soup with the chicken her way she is a love. Well, she was always
a love as far as I was concerned.

This is not a cure-all, but I thought I would share it with you.

Marilyn and the (chicken eating gang) at Ledoux Hospice.
