Connie:
I hate to tell you this but if the Flagyl (Metranidazole) is liquid, it
already HAS been compounded! Flagyl comes in tablets and capsules. I
fully understand your problem. I had to force it down Cedes and Lany twice
a day (ECE). Their dosage was 1/2cc. They have been off it for several
days now and Cedes still grunts when I come near him with soup. I finally
ended up putting about 1/2 the dose in their soup and gave the other half
directly with a syringe. The full 1/2cc in the soup made it too bitter.
Of course, they spit out a good bit of the oral part but my vet prescribes
a little "overdose" for that reason, hoping they will get all they need.

I don't know whether you have tasted it but it IS the most vile stuff I
have ever put in my mouth.
