Today I received a gift, a very special gift. After the usual morning
routine of greeting the main group of spoiled fur kids, I settled on the
floor with the morning paper.

As usual one or two of the kids peeked under the paper to see where I was.

Then Sir Trouble climbed up on my shoulder. He likes to sit up there
to watch. (?) Then Missy Fitt climbed up to see what Trouble might be
getting. Before long all five of the main group was either on my shoulder
or in my arms.

Then little Mysti, my very shy girl came up and climbed in my lap, Blossom
(Stealer of hearts) soon joined the group.

Normally Mysti and Blossom are their own clique, having nothing to do with
the main Brat Pak, except to jump on poor fat Dweezle.

But here they were all in one group, in my lap or in my arms, no fighting
no bickering, no spating, just ten minutes of warm furry kids. Ten minutes
of quiet ferret love, not one bit of trouble.

It had to be one of the most memorable moments of my experience with fur
kidders. It will always be a special moment in my heart.

Slowly they wandered off in their own directions, to their boxes or dresser
drawers, or nappy places but still no fighting or rough housing.

Why do we put so much care and time in out fuzzies... gosh I just can't
explain it. :]
