To Sharon (and anyone else who needs this!)-I am quoting this info from
the older post in question with the info on the ferret vaccine (I saved
it myself in case I ever needed it, and have actually passed it along to
others before!)  I don't remember who originally posted it, but thanks!:
 
"They have to draw blood and send it to the Mayo Clinic.  It costs $68 and
is covered by insurance as any other allergy test.  The test was labeled
as '1 Allergen Specific IGE, 86003'".
