It has been a while since I or my wife have posted but I just wanted to let
all of you know that the Winter 96/97 newsletter for the Tri State Ferret
Connection is now up and running on the web.  There is a lot of new things
going on here in Cincinnati,Ohio i.e. new officers for the club and trying
to get a major show up and running here, but that is in the newsletter so
you'll just have to read it to find out.  The URL is

On a personal note, our six fuzzies are doing well I guess, Ashlar our
oldest is still not adjusting too well to our Fredonia ferrets but we have
started thinkig of him as the curmudgeon of them all.  Persephone, one of
the Fredonia rescues, (1.5 lb.) delights in chasing our 18 lb. siamese cat
around , and Bullwinkle the kit from Hell ( oops I meant Fredonia) delights
in chasing anything .  He now weighs 3.2 lbs. at the old age of 9 months.
Apollo is turning into a real lover, you screetch his back and he rolls over
to get his tummy scratched.Mona and Cleo have adapted well to the new , new
is debatable we've had them three months now,ferrets.  But Persephone the
cat torturer has really taken a liking to Bullwinkle she snaps at everyone
but him.  The other day I watched him drag her around by the neck for
awhile, he musta been looking for that honeymoon suite that was mentioned in
the "Ferrets and Ferreting Handbook " by James Macke.  well enough for now.
