My one ferret, Giz, is allergic to something and had been scratching and
scratching for the past month.  He was really bad off for about two weeks
and had many scabs all over his body.  I took him to the vet.  Thursday and
the vet.  gave him a shot (steroid) that will last for about 2-3 weeks.  In
addition, I put Giz on Advantage flea control due to a few fleas creeping
into the house from a dog that we watched for a while.  Anyway, Gizzy is
doing great and scratches only once in a blue moon.  He is so much more
comfortable these days, so I am thrilled that I took that trip to the vet.
Just wanted to let everyone know how my little guy was doing.
