Hi Jen,
 
Congratulations on being a new ferret mom!  Your world will never be the
same ~ and you will never know how you ever lived without them for so
long.
 
I hope you aren't so discouraged by [bettyblurofurs] response to your post
that you leave the FML.  I met Betty and her husband, Jim, at the Ferret
Symposium in Las Vegas.  They are both very, very nice and sweet people.
I was a bit surprised because like you, I thought her post was a reprimand
but normally Betty writes in the third person and is very helpful and
educational.  Maybe she didn't realize her post was *pointing the finger*
but I know she meant well.
 
Over the years I have found this forum to be a great place for information
and comraderie, more so than any other board I've visited.  I admit there
is a lot of bickering and dissention, but the info is invaluable and the
stories will break your heart and lift your spirits.
 
I hope you give the FML another chance and get acquainted with everyone
before deciding to *sign out*.
