Someone awhile back asked about ferrets looking out the window.  I am able
to report that Giesela has been doing this for awhile now but quite a bit
more lately.  When I noticed that she would stop running to stand on the
back of the couch and look out the window I put a pillow up there and now
she lays there when she's feeling a little sleepy and just looks.  She is
getting to be a year old so slowing down is part of it but I still think its
a bit unusual.  She looks so nearsighted and wistful while she does it its
comical and sad at the same time.
 
A be aware note for people getting a new ferret for a playmate.  I got Boris
in September and they have been getting along for 5 months or so but
unfortunately I dont think Giesela really "likes" Boris - he is handly to
wrestle with and that's about it, not a match made in heaven.  Anything I
can do?
