Please tell me you rushed your ferret to the vet's for X-rays and other
tests! Stepping on a ferret can be fatal to them, maybe not immediately
so, but a broken rib, broken back, crushed spleen all can take days to
kill the ferret. A member of another ferret forum just went through a
severe crushing when her closet shelf fell on her two ferrets. Luckily
they both pulled through, but they needs serious veterinary help to do
so. Do NOT delay! Get the ferret to a vet for care ASAP!
