Hi,

I have a wonderful ferret, Kiva, that is deaf and exhibits the traits of
Waardenburg's syndrome, which I heard about for the first time on the FML.
I want to submit a few paragraphs about Waardenburg's syndrome to the OFA
newsletter. I had been saving FML issues that had information on it, but
when I went back to find them I couldn't find some of the info I remember
reading. Could individuals that are knowledgable about the subject send me
some information that I could use to write the article. I want to describe
the physical traits and embryological development of the syndrome.

Thanks in advance,

Elayne

[Moderator's note: Lots of mention of Waardenburg's in past issues. You
might want to check out all the issues in the 1280's - i.e. nearly every
issue from 1280-1289 has a tidbit or two on it. Of course, any more info
is welcome - don't mean to close the topic. BIG]
