I don't know if this works for getting rid of hiccups but it sure is lots of
fun.  When I have a little one hiccuping I walk out of the room and make
some sort of nice to get them to come without calling them.  Then when they
come around the corner I jump out and say "BOO!" I can't tell you if it gets
rid of their hiccups because that really sets them going for awhile and when
they do finally come to me they aren't hiccuping anymore. :-)
