I have a little girl, Siam, who had a mass on her left knee. I took
her to the vet, and she didn't know what it was, but we both agreed
it would be better to remove it.

She came through the surgery with flying colors and is healing nicely,
but I got a call from the vet today that floored me.

It was a Neurofirbrosarcoma, and was cancerous. A stage 2. The vet said
she had never heard of such a thing in ferrets, and she recomended I
contact you, and aonther vet in a neighbiring town who knows more about
ferrets than she does.

She said that it could come back, we have no idea when, may be a month,
may be a year or more, who knows. In the meantime, I we are not sure
what kind of follow-up care she would need.

So, have any of you had experience with this, or heard of it? I need
as much help as I can get, I don't want to lose her because I DIDN'T
do something that I should, or did something I SHOULDN"T have done.

Thanks, from both me nd Siam, we appreciate any help we can get.
