Hello!!  Biscuit is our first ferret.  He is a one year old male that we are
still getting used to but he did something the other day that still has me
laughing.  I figured I would share it with you all.
 
My fiancee and I took Biscuit outside on Friday for a walk to a nearby field
which he really enjoyed.  Well I brought a big sack that he likes with us
for him to play in, and carry him in if it started to get chilly.  I also
put his two favorite toys which he keeps hidden in his wicker basket; a big
sponge and a babies bottle.  Well I filled the bottle with water before we
left that way if he got thirsty he could also drink out of it.  Well as soon
as I took out the bottle he grabbed it and took off running down the street.
keep in mind that the bottle is much bigger than him so he is dragging it
along as it bounces away.  He was still on his leash so we are running
trying to just keep up with him and see where he is going.  Well he finally
gets all the way to our house, which shocked me because he knew which one
was his and we have only taken him out a couple of times since we brought
him home three weeks ago.  He ran up the stairs and scratched on the door to
be let in.  We opened the door and he ran all the way down stairs to my
bedroom and put the bottle back in the basket.  He looked at us as if "Now
leave this in here guys!!" He is so funny!!
