Girlie seems to be feeling a bit better today, however, I remain 'guarded'.
 
The main reason I'm writing is to suggest (or remind) to others who have to
force fluids is to try giving it from their hand first.  I knew this... but
had forgotten about it until today!
 
She actually took some water this way!  I've been trying to give 5-10ccs
every two hours or so.  I fill an oral syringe, then squeeze a little at a
time into the palm of my hand.  It's working much better than forcing was,
and is much less stressful for both!
