Dear Sharon,

Am most interested to see one of the MF bell collars, since we here at
F.E.R.R.E.T.S., NW have a line of metal "chain" collars (with attached
cat bell) that prevent fleas from hiding under the wider collars of other
types. These "chain" bell collars are adjustable to the ferret's neck and
head size such that they can be pulled off in the event the ferret should
get the collar stuck on some unusual projection. In addition the "chain"
collars can rotate up and down the ferret's neck such that long term
wearing of the collar does not cause a "wear" notch in the ferret's neck
fur as is the case with the wider commercial nylon or fiber collars.

With the wearing of the cats-bell "chain" collar produces a characteristic
"tinkle-bell" sound with the ferrets movements, his location is made known
throughout the house or apt. In addition, and perhaps more important, if
your ferret ever gets outside and becomes lost, the fact that he's wearing
a collar may very well save his life. Believe it or not, some ferrets have
been killed and/or severely injured by humans who, not ever having seen a
ferret before, regard a ferret pleading for help by placing its forepaws on
their leg as a wild animal about to attack them, and without a tinkle-bell
collar, they are not recognized as a loving pet, but rather as a savage
animal in the throes of its initial attack mode.

If you would please send one MF bell collar to Edw Lipinski's ferret/mink
shelter, F.E.R.R.E.T.S., NW, 4321 86th Ave SE, Mercer Island, WA
98040-4124.

Danke vielmals (German) Thank you much.
