We had Joker and Riki (the only 2 awake at the time..) in the bedroom for a
'test run'.  Tho they were up on the bed, and under the covers, they showed
no inclination to leap over the headboard........nevertheless, I was
obsessed with the idea that they WOULD!
 
Out came the tape measurer, and off to saw another piece of plywood.......I
guess the ol' saying 'measure once, saw once' is not correct?  It certainly
wasn't for me!  Eventually...........the headboard->wall gap is now
bridged....oh, I realize it won't stand the bouncing of 10 happy wardancing
ferrets, but it will prevent the accidental falling thru to the nether
regions occurance!
 
Whew!  I feel better now.......
