I have four fuzzies in two three-tier cages. The upper two levels are
connected by four pieces of dryer tubing. The tubes are six feet long.
Tubes are supported by 1x1x1/16 aluminum angle. The cages are 18"x 24".
The whole assembly is 10' long. This gives 24' of run room, to lessen the
frustrations of confinement. They like it.

The upper levels are covered by $31 per yard carpeting. (nothing too good
for my fuzzies). Each piece is approx. $1.00, because it was bought as
leftover pieces at a carpet retailer. It cuts easily with a single-edge
razor blade. A notch in one corner allows access to the next level.

The lower level has an 18"x 10" piece under the food bowl and water bowl.
The bowls are simulated granite and are attached to the cage side. The
carpet is for those who like to take the kibble out and chew at it on the
carpet. You lose much less TF that way. There is a water bottle above the
water dish. Some ferrets prefer a bottle, sometimes. If the bottle drips,
it goes into the bowl. The only other thing on that level is the litter pan.
