Hi All,
 
Today's activities.  We did not pick up the ferrets from the Humane
Society - they want to keep them because it looks like Tropical Storm
Jeanne (soon to be a Hurricane) will hit us again.
 
Got a pair of shoes today (thanks to your donations).  Got food for
dinner.  Did the rounds with Debbie House and found 5 dogs and three
cats and united them with owners.
 
Cried today for those in Hurricane IVAN's way -- gosh I know what it is
going to be like for the ferret shelters up there and am helpless to help
them!  I would like to say four letter words but what good would it do!
 
Ferrets are fine -- they just do their dances and have no idea what is
going on!
 
The local newspaper wants to interview me and then send it out to Scripps
- forget that - I am too busy right now.  I was very nice to them on the
phone -- maybe later.
 
Got a new cage in today, very grateful.
 
Called the "Blue Roof" people and are picking up this stuff you spread on
the roof that will stop the leaks.
 
A very important message to those in IVAN path -- use your radio's -- if
they are like our radio station they will have a "people helping people
station" that's the best way to get immediate help for ice, food, tarps.
Don't be afraid to call the numbers they put out!!!!!
 
That's all right now as we are doing more taping on the mobile home and
preparing for Jeanne - will move the ferrets our if need be.
 
Gosh please pray for those in the path of IVAN and us too.
