I will be traveling to Terre Haute Indiana this weekend and have just found
out that the hotel (Larry Bird's Boston Connection) will not allow me to
bring in my ferrets. I need to find someplace either in the
Valparaiso/Hebron area in Northern Indiana or near Terre Haute where I can
board my two ferrets (no ECE exposure). Please feel free to e-mail me
directly with any responses. (All the vets and boarding places near me
aren't equipped for ferrets - don't have cages - won't let them out - and a
whole bunch of other potential problems.)

Second issue. I've seen where cutting of ferretone with olive oil is
recommended to reduce the vitamin concentrations. Why olive oil and not
other food oils (i.e., corn, soybean, cotton seed, peanut, canola?) I use
canola oil myself at home and wonder if I can use it instead of olive oil.
Is it just a taste preference with ferrets or is there some health or
inherrent oil constituent reason to avoid other oils?
