I have a touchy question to ask, My ferret Smoky, is old and paralyzed
from the waist down. His cagemate and longtime pal tries to take care
of him as much as she can but it's getting pretty hopeless to watch.
He can no longer go to the lower level to use the bathroom so he's
constantly full of poop and urine. My question is, should I put him to
sleep? I hate the thought of it, yet I hate seeing him suffer. Also,
what do you think will happen to his mate? They have been together
their whole lives.
