I am worried more than ever now. Frannie's wheezing and caoughing is back.
I called the vet for advice a few weeks ago, and was told to try a hairball
remedy first. I did this, and the wheezing went away for a bit. THen
early this morning, I heard that wet gasping/wheezing noise. I held her
and gave her some Petromalt, really hoping it was just some hair. THen
at playtime, I heard full on coughing coming from the girls' tunnel. I
scrambled to pull Frannie out of the tunnel, and she seemed fine. I
emptied out some kibble from the tube, but nothing else.

What could this coughing be? Do ferrets get seasonal allergies? Could
it be something I'm cleaning with? ( I'm very careful with any cleaning
product, and rinse or wipe thoroughly.) My other girl doesn't cough like
this. Could it be their food? I feed them Zupreem and TF mixed. Could
it be an obstruction, or something worse? Should I take her in for x rays,
or some other kind of test?

Questions, Worries, INSANITY...My sweet little girl... :(
