You're absolutely right about the B vitamins.  That's what make brewer's
yeast an excellent coat conditioner.  However, every scientific study ever
done on the subject has shown that neither garlic nor B vitamins have ANY
effect on flea populations on animal.  You still need to use flea shampoos
and powders (anything safe for a cat is safe for a ferret) as well as the
flea egg inhibitor Program to control the problem.
