Lost ferret
This past Labor Day weekend my family and I went to the beach, which is
about 7 hours from here.  I left my sister in charge of my animals, which
includes 7 ferrets.  To make a long story short, she let the ferrets out
of their cage and then left our door going outside not completely shut.
One of our dogs obviously pushed it open when she left, and it was not
discovered untilt the next day, which was this past Saturday.  We live in
the country with woods all around.  However, there is a house next door
and a few on our dead-end street.  We have looked everywhere!  How long
have any of your fuzzies been out and then returned?  I'm putting up
posters today and putting an ad in the newspaper, calling my neighbors,
etc.  He has no special squeaky toy or anything that he would come to.
His name is Baby, and he's just a sweetheart.........follows me around
like a puppy.  I'm heartbroken thinking that he's out there with no
water or food.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
