This Shelter Debacle:As I never mentioned any names or addresses, I had no
idea that it would be necessary to say any more about the alleged shelter
with the name I cannot say that wanted a check in a persons name..  But I
guess I had better.
 
1.I was not asked to write a check out in the name of the alleged
corporation-but to a person.  NONE of you have EVER asked me to do that.
And I have written out a lot of checks to a lot of shelters.
 
2. I was given a phone number that was to belong to the alleged shelter.
I called AT and T operator AND the operator of that town.  The corporate
name does not exist according to them in that town.  The persons name does
not exist in that town either.  And I was told that the phone number was
either unlisted or did not exist.
 
Now you can all go on and discuss this if you wish.  I did not write
anything to start an arguement.  Nor am I going to get in the middle of
one.  I just wished for the ferret poem book-remember???????
 
You can pick up the phone and check it out for yourselves if you think you
know what the alleged name of the person is..  TWO people spent time
checking it out for me.  The AT and T operator and the local operator of
the town told me the same thing.  .
 
May God strike me dead if this is not the 100% truth.
 
Anyone can get their name on a list or put pictures on the web and say they
are whatever or whoever..Happens all too often.
 
Lists: I called many of the vets in my area that were on a list compiled by
trustworthy respected people on the FML.  Next to none did surgery on
ferrets or felt comfortable seeing one.  Some gave me dangerous
misinformation: like that ferrets don't need any shots.  I am in Ill.  Look
at the list of names written up by STAR that I found about 6 months ago..
Call these vets.  Tell them your ferret needs adrenal surgery.  See what
happens for yourself.  Anyone can get on a list.
 
Web sights: In our town, someone put up a websight for custom blinds.  It
was, I guess, a great web sight.  Lots of people apparently ordered the
blinds and paid for them.  There were no blinds.  There was just a
storefront a few blocks away from where I work.  The article was in our
local paper less than a year ago.  Over $200,000 went into the hands of
these con-artists that was known of at the time.  Anyone can have a web
sight..
 
And that is that.  Do your own investigating.  I can only tell you what my
calls revealed.  I have no reason to make this up.  I did not even think
this would ever be a matter for discussion.
