On the subject of trying to get the dog and cat people: The idea itself is
not bad. Just don't use the tactic of lieing. Lies have away of blowing
up in your face.

The basic facts you should stick to are:

1. Ferret foes are using lies and half truths to make there point.
2. The ferret is much more resistant to rabies than either the cat or dog,
but our opponents try to make it sound like it is the most serious
threat in the pet world of contracting rabies.
3. The ferret, percentage wise, causes less damage to children than the
cat or dog, but those attacks are pointed to as making a ferrets and
   unfit pet.

Basic point, if these lies and half truthes are aloud to be used against
us, it is only a matter of time before people who dislike dogs, or cats,
or both, start using the same scare tactics to bring about more repressive
laws against other pet owners, incuding the more established ones.
